COMPANY PROFILE

Schutz Industries is a private Pty Ltd company (ABN 64 008 294 442) located in Eudunda, a regional township in South Australia.

Schutz Industries is considered an Australian leader in the manufacture of complete Hay Press Plants for the Australian hay export industry and continues to manufacture a select range of agricultural machinery and implements as well as commissioned equipment through its general engineering division.

The manufactured products help service the mining, rural and hay processing industries to the highest possible standard in keeping with the specifications required by the customer.

The company ethos is one of continual improvement and customer support through all stages of design and manufacture including full support for employees with regard to training internally and externally. It is committed to being the preferred supplier in each of the markets it serves. To this end, the customers are its primary concern. Where possible the company looks to develop strong facilitator relationships (strategic marketing alliances) with key players in the various industries to maximize the ability to provide a broad service.

The company will continue to strive to develop processes for better understanding and servicing their customer’s needs and expectations. It measures their perception of its services through regular customer satisfaction feedback. It actively involves all of its employees in assessing and refining the internal quality systems.

The company was formed in 1985, originally as a partnership between Neville Schutz and Geoffrey Busch, and was named Buschutz Engineering, it traded under this name for 32 years until Neville and Geoff decided to part ways in 2017, allowing Neville’s sons Simon and Joel to take more of an active role in the business.  By 2018 the transition was complete with the name being changed to Schutz Industries. It currently employs 12 mainly trade qualified production personnel, supported by a small management and administration team. It also sub contracts select component manufacture to local engineering firms under formalized QA control, to enable extra production capacity as required. Schutz Industries continues to manufacture products that are sold overseas, within the Pacific Basin as well as throughout Australia.
